The four-rider Buildbase BMW Motorrad team is all set for the May Bank Holiday weekend's racing action at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Oulton is Liverpudlian Superstock rider Steve Brogan's home race, and the circuit at which he won the British Superbike EVO Championship in 2010.
The first two rounds of the 2012 season have seen the team take two Superstock 1000 finishes and their first British Superbike points of the year.
Riders Steve Brogan and Howie Mainwaring are defending Buildbase BMW Motorrad's 2011 Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship title, and have both taken a second place finish this season.
2011 BSB-EVO third-place finisher Barry Burrell is joined by Dan Linfoot, with both riding the BMW S 1000 RRs in the British Superbike Championship. Both Barry and Dan have finished in the points this year.
Stuart Hicken, team principal, said: "We're in very good shape for Oulton Park. Our riders have all done well at Oulton in the past and with every race we're making the new 2012 BMW S 1000 RR race bikes even better. We've already had points and podiums in our first two meetings, which is very promising, and our riders have shown very impressive race pace.
"We have had a little bad luck during qualifying, being caught out with the wrong tyre choice during the appalling weather in the opening rounds, so we are hoping for a little sunshine over the Bank Holiday weekend! The team is confident that we'll leave Oulton Park with even more silverware."
Qualifying begings at 12:55 on Sunday 06 May, with the cancelled race two from Brands Hatch at 16:35.
