CALLING ALL GS RIDERS. YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!

How would you like to represent your nation in a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses-paid off-road adventure? BMW Motorrad UK needs three GS owners to take on teams of riders from around the world in South America in November.
So, how do you get involved? Simple! Come along and take part in the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy UK Qualifier at the BMF Show in Peterborough on 18-20 May 2012 and you could win one of three places in the team.
Join us at the BMF show and set up in the dedicated BMW GS Trophy campsite on Friday evening, enjoy the live music and entertainment, grab a hearty meal and get settled in. The riding challenges and activities kick off on Saturday morning and run through to Sunday afternoon, when the finalists will be invited to compete for the three places in Team UK in the central arena in front of the BMF Show crowds!
Not only will there be prizes and rewards for riders at every level, but the three best amateur GS riders be jetting off on an all-expenses-paid trip to South America to represent their country in the GS Trophy.
If you own a BMW GS motorcycle and are over 21 years of age*, this three-day event could be right up your street. Open to riders of all calibre, it includes a range of fun on- and off-road riding challenges, as well as practical, mechanical and navigational tests. Participants will compete on their own GS for all on-road activities and get to ride a selection of GS bikes from BMW Motorrad for use in the off-road challenges.
Entry is just £150 and includes a weekend camping ticket (worth £42), as well as inclusive access to all of the BMF Show activities, music, catering and entertainment, and use of BMW GS Bikes for the off-road riding elements. You are also welcome to invite as many supporters along as you like. Guest passes are £50 per person and include a camping space at the GS Trophy campsite.
A number of BMW Motorrad UK dealers are also entering the event with groups of customers. As well as the ultimate prize on offer for the best individual performances, the best performing dealer team will win a special team award – a complimentary ‘Day in the Dirt’ experience at the BMW Off Road Skills School for all participating riders.
